Salad oil
Salad oil can be a mixture of several kinds of vegetable oils. Interestingly enough, its name refers not to ‘salad’ but to how the seeds used to produce the oil are pressed. Usually, soybean oil and rapeseed oil are used. Salad oil is an extremely versatile soil and can be used in almost any kind of food preparation; for deep-frying, however, better alternatives would include peanut oil and Grenada Gold (the oil Levo developed especially for deep-frying).
